Chaweng Noi Beach is one of the most beautiful and comfortable beaches on Koh Samui, located just south of the main Chaweng area. It is a small curved bay with a wide stretch of soft white sand, clear water, and a much calmer atmosphere compared to the island’s busiest beach zone.
The beach is around one kilometer long and is especially good for classic beach relaxation. The sand is fine and clean, with very few shells or coral pieces, and while the entrance into the sea is gentle, the depth increases faster than on main Chaweng, making swimming more comfortable.
The biggest advantage of Chaweng Noi is the feeling of privacy. Even though it is close to lively Chaweng, the area feels much quieter, without loud bars, clubs, or heavy nightlife. It is better suited for peaceful отдых, beach massages, sunset dinners, and slow walks by the sea.
Nearby you’ll find the famous Lad Koh Viewpoint, offering beautiful panoramic views over the bay and the east coast of Samui. Sunrise here is especially impressive, with waves breaking against the rocks below.
Like the rest of Samui’s east coast, the beach experiences stronger waves from October to February. During this season, swimming can be less calm, and strong tides may create rip currents, so extra attention is needed.
