Lad Koh Viewpoint is one of the most beautiful and accessible viewpoints on Koh Samui, located between Chaweng Noi and Lamai. It is often the perfect first or last stop during an island trip — the kind of place where Samui opens up in the best possible way.
The viewpoint sits right on top of a hill, making it easy to reach by car or scooter without any long hiking. Just a few moments after arriving, you get a wide panoramic view over the Gulf of Thailand, the east coast of the island, and the endless horizon.
From here, you can clearly see the sea, rocky coastline, green hills, and the long beach line below. It is especially beautiful at sunrise or closer to sunset, when the light becomes softer and the water changes color. On windy days, you can watch waves crashing against the rocks far below.
